"I would like to nominate "Meg's Awakening" by Kilahara as story of the day. In this compact story, Kilahara manages an intimate and luxurious description of a gentle, slow, loving spanking.

I love the way that the point-of-view switches so seamlessly. Sometimes it's that of Meg, the spankee, sometimes it's that of Raven, her freshly-spanked friend; sometimes it's bug-on-the wall, and sometimes it just doesn't seem to matter.

Synopsis:

"I would like to nominate "The Summer of 71" by MrMcSpank as story of the day. It is a very romantic and nostalgic story of first love and days long gone. It catches the feeling of summer perfectly, and it has a very intense and slightly sad spanking scene (particularly hot for those with voyeuristic inclinations!)

Synopsis:
Jack and Julie knew each other ten years ago when they started school. Now aged 15, she has come to live next door to him, they have fallen totally in love and are inseparable for the entire summer. Story Of The Day: One Wish

Our next 'Story of the Day' is One Wish by ruegirl which has been recommended by LSF member, Phil K:

"It's been a while since ruegirl posted any new stories in the Library, or on any other site that I've visited; I just hope she hasn't dropped out of the scene altogether. But in the meantime we have her wonderful stories - nearly 350 of them - here to enjoy.

I've been a huge fan of Rue's writing for years, especially of her humorous stories. At her best - which is often - she writes stories that are at once very funny and deliciously sexy, imbued with all the delight and sensuality of spanking in a joyous, loving context. Given so many favourites, it's hard to pick just one, but I've gone for 'One Wish' as it shows her ability to play games with spanking-story conventions, devise a teasingly original plot and - her strongest suit - devise gloriously witty dialogue. Consider this exchange between our somewhat booze-befuddled hero, Sean, and the Leprechaun he meets as he weaves his uncertain way home:

"A wish? But... I thought you had to give me your gold?"

"Global recession. We're doing wishes until the market improves."

Plenty more where that came from. Enjoy!"

Synopsis:

Story Of The Day: The Prefects' Court

Our next 'Story of the Day' is The Prefects' Court by Mike from London which has been recommended by LSF member, TheEnglishMaster:

"I highly recommend this classic English schoolgirl story. It deserves a wider audience.

It is a straightforwardly-presented account of a weekly meeting, at the Queen Mary Grammar School for Girls, where the prefects report wrong-doers for punishment. They vote on the fairness of the accusation, then decide the implement, state of dress and number, before carrying out the sentence. Supervised by Deputy Head Mrs Jeffers, on this occasion five girls are lined up outside Classroom 12, awaiting their fate. Inside, new prefect Sarah is anxious because she is reporting a girl for the first time: will her fellow-prefects validate her accusation?

Each punishment (gym shoe and cane) is described in just the right detail, and an unexpected twist sees 18-year-old Sarah humiliated before her peers as she receives six hard stingers with the cane from Mrs Jeffers, with extras.

The style of the third-person narrative is easy and fluent, with characters' thoughts and feelings described sensitively. Its richness of detail gives it an authenticity that makes for a thoroughly good read!"

Synopsis:
Sarah, 18-year-old new prefect at her girl's school, has finally had to report a student for a major rule infraction to the Prefects' Court. If the court does not agree, the prefect receives a caning instead of the accused student. Four other students are also brought up for charges and all punished by the accusing prefect. Sarah, however, proves to be unequal to the task, having never caned before. She learns the consequences of her ignorance first-hand.
