Story Of The Day: Halo Adjustment Services

Our next 'Story of the Day' is Halo Adjustment Services by flowerchild which has been recommended by LSF member, tfs:

"For those who appreciate the romantic 'man meets woman, man spanks woman, man gets woman' genre of stories, this is an especially witty example in which a clever old granny acts decisively to accomplish multiple objectives.

Clearly recognizing a golden opportunity when she sees one; in one deft move the canny Granny lays the groundwork for getting rid of her attractive, divorced but very frustrated granddaughter who had, no doubt, long overstayed her welcome, by fixing her up with an eligible man well suited to give her just what she needs and, in the process, gives her new neighbor a pretty nice "house warming" present in the bargain.

The story is amusing, fast paced and told with a nicely calibrated degree of eroticism that will entertain right down to the clever little twist at the end."

Synopsis:
Moving in day for John, into the house his grandmother left him, becomes more exciting than he could have ever imagined. A sign, alluding to an old saying of one of his grandmother's friends, leads to him getting the perfect introduction to the woman next door. The two of them are instantly attracted to each other and they both enjoy the spanking too!

The latest song to get the spanko parody treatment is The Water Is Wide, a folk song of Scottish or English origin. The original lyrics are thought to be partly derived from the 1600s but the lyrics of the spanko version, Her Bottom Is Wide, provided and performed by opb, are believed to date from sometime around last week :) Herewith, a brief extract:

Story Of The Day: Jess & The Pool Party

Our next 'Story of the Day' is Jess And The Pool Party by Opb which has been recommended by LSF member, Alan Barr:

"I was quite excited when I first discovered "Jess and the Pool Party". It seemed to me to be everything a spanking story should be, not just pandering to our spankophile tendencies, but a genuine story in the fullest sense, one which involves us emotionally.

Jess's act of courage and subsequent reluctant journey of self discovery are beautifully imagined. Returning to read it again, I find I admire it as much as ever. "

Synopsis:
Part 1 Jess tries to honour her mother, despite the latter's bohemian lifestyle, the endless string of men friends, and, worst of all, having christened her Jezebel. Jess goes out in her Salvation Army uniform, collecting door-to-door for the shelter. She meets fellow collector Dan; they discuss the nature of giving, and whether motive is more important than action.

Part 2 Jess arrives at the last house in the road - almost a mansion. Asking for donations, she is invited through to the back, where a pool party is in progress. A boorish man named Keith offers a generous £10 note for the cause, but in return he insists she let him spank her. Jess is torn: refuse, and deny the poor the much-needed £10? Or accept, and participate in an immoral and humiliating act?

Part 3 Handed a leather-soled slipper by another guest, Keith begins to spank Jess. At first, it's not too bad, but when he removes her skirt, cuts away her knickers and really starts to spank, then her pain and humiliation are complete. And worse: he asks the host if he has a cane.

Part 4 Jess is saved from the cane by the intervention of the host, John, whose wife Claire takes Jess upstairs to find new clothes for her. Claire showers Jess with expensive items, rubs soothing cream into her throbbing behind and then shyly makes a request that Jess, strangely, finds herself agreeing to ...

Part 5 Jess consents to Claire spanking her, and at first she finds it much easier than the previous session with the slipper. But Claire slowly intensifies her smacks until Jess finds it more than she can tolerate. Yet Claire's hypnotic voice then leads her to bend for the cane, waiting.

LSF: New URL

The Library of Spanking Fiction software was originally simply part of the Bottom Lines spanking community website but on Aug 30, 2009 we decided to trial it as a standalone site with its own URL to see if anyone would actually use it.

Because it was something of an experiment we decided to register a free domain for it, originally using a co.cc extension and then later a .tk one. Although both of these have generally worked well we don't really have any control over them and the domain providers could pull the plug on them at any time for whatever reason. So the time has come for us to break open the petty cash box and actually pay for one. There were several domains that we would have preferred to use but unfortunately they were all already taken. In the end, however, we have settled on:

Story Of The Day: I Remember Her Well

Our next 'Story of the Day' is I Remember Her Well by Guyde which has been recommended by LSF member, Alef:

"I would like to draw people's attention to Guyde's story "I Remember Her Well". In my opinion, it is one of the finest stories in the library, and it has not received the attention it deserves. I should warn you that it is not a story for the weak at heart — it is incredibly cruel, intense and tender at the same time.

It is a stylistic and psychological masterpiece told with restraint, but allowing conflicting emotions to shine through. It doesn't teach, it doesn't explain, it doesn't preach, but it still conveys a very convincing picture of what being a spanko may mean.

If you find this story too tough, you may still want to look at some of the author's stories in other genres — he is an extremely versatile author who deserves (even more) attention than he has got."

Synopsis:
When he told Felicity about the Military punishment he had endured, he did not think that she would insist on experiencing the same. He tries to explain what 24 strokes of the birch will do to her but she is adamant and in the end he gives her what she wants. That night their sex life reaches new heights but also heralds the demise of their relationship for reasons he still doesn't understand.

Story Of The Day: The Art Of War

Our next 'Story of the Day' is The Art of War by John Benson which has been recommended by LSF member, opb:

"Those familiar with Benson's work will know that he treats us to many walks along the same path; that of the nascent sexuality of the teenage girl, caught between guilt at sexual pleasure, the guessed-at value of cp as a punishment for this and the surprising fact that this only makes it worse, trapping his heroines in a guilt-punishment-pleasure cycle which can only end in our enjoyment.

The Art of War is far more than this – a spoiled princess gets a tutor to instruct her in the fighting arts in order to keep her safe from external as well as internal challenges, but the battlegrounds are also those of the war between the sexes and between the conscious will and unconscious desires.

The surface story continues with a bit too much rapidity for many tastes, given the complexity of the issues discussed – and they are discussed - but at 7000 words even this length may be too much for some readers.

If you enjoy a sci-fi story then it's worth the read. Even if you don't, then the human interaction between the characters (even the non-human ones) makes this worth the time spent."

Synopsis:
Set in a futuristic world of punish boxes and robots, Maggie is the daughter and heir of the Overlord. As such a human 'tutor' is hired to train her, using discipline if needed, in the arts of fighting. Her father is aware that she enjoys using the punish box for sexual pleasure and deems this to be a safe way to educate her.

LSF Story Challenge: Voting

It's voting time once again as the 8th LSF Challenge is now underway. A total of 57 entries were received with word counts ranging from 500 to 8,375 - so now is your opportunity to get in there and read, comment and vote on each story.

Aside from generating a bunch of new stories for the library, the LSF Challenges are primarily intended to be a bit of fun. Our thanks go to everyone who made the effort to write something new and we hope people enjoy reading the entries. They range from funny to sad but they all have one thing in common (aside from the 'Last Will & Testament' theme of the challenge) - spanking!

Story Of The Day: Yearnings On The Sand

Our next 'Story of the Day' is Yearnings On The Sand by ruegirl which has been recommended by LSF member, opb:

"Whilst on the surface this brief story concerns fantasy creatures, it's executed by an author whose form assures us that there is something else going on under the surface. As with ruegirl's “Alkira” an alternate world is conjured with a deft brevity which was able to persuade the jaded eyes of this reader that this piece belongs in the realm of fiction and not fantasy.

In this case our kink is exposed to gentle and confused scrutiny by voyeurs who pose the questions asked by so few, that is to say “What if I was to be able to share that kink? Can I change? What would I gain and what would I lose?”

The questions remain not fully answered as in the best stories, leaving the reader to make their own mind on the matter, though one is left with the impression that the wondering isn't over.

It's a quick and gentle read but poses questions which should take longer to consider if they are to be treated with anything like the seriousness they deserve."

Synopsis:
Tethria and her sisters are mermaids. One day they see two people on the beach, and witness a spanking. This appeals greatly, and Tethria and her sister plan to change their way of life.
